Footdrill-
1. Report to sir.
2. Form a U-shape.
3. Cadet's welfare.
- Check if cadet feel well.
- Check if cadet can hear you.
4. Introduction of YOU.

NOTE: DO NOT NEED TO INTRODUCE A BATON.
5. Introduce the command.
- Purpose of the command
- Timing.
- Position.
6. Show the cadets in parts.
7. Full demostration.
8. Get the cadet to perform in parts.
9. Ask them to perform in full.
10. Ask them do one last time before falling back in.
Precautions! -
1. Make sure cadet is not facing the sun.
2. Within period of time, do remember to check that cadet understands.
3. Walk around and check for common mistake.
LashingU-Shape: Stationary command.
Straight line: Moving command. E.g Marching.
Introduce the:
-Loop.
-Bight
-Turn(one turn)
-Round turn(two turn)
-Working end(the end you use)
-Standing end(the end that is used very little or NONE at all)
Purpose:
Round lashing- Join two poles together(increase length, etc.)
Square lashing- Secure two poles at 90 degree
Sheer lashing- Lever, "Scissors leg"
Diagonal lashing- Secure two poles at any angle, etc.
Gyn lashing- Tripod, can also be a raft.
KnotsThumb knot- Stop fraying (stopper knot)
Figure of 8- Stop fraying (stopper knot) Can take out easily cuz got bigger surface. Bigger surface leads it to stop more fraying.
Clove hitch- To tie a rope/twine to a spar.
Reef knot- To tie two ropes of equal length together. (kevin, not tie le then same length, remember :] )
Fisherman knot- Best to tie two slippery knot together.(Rembering tip: Fisherman)
Sheep shank- Used to bypass a broken part of a twine/ shorten a twine.
Bowline- Used to secure rope to a ring or spar. Can be used as rescue work.
Sheep band- To tie twine of unequal thickness together.
How to teach:
3 ways to choose from. You choose :)
1. Tie a perfect one and teach at the same time.
2. Tie a perfect one and show them, before tying again.
3. Tie a sketch, show them the end result, then tie again. (Suggested Method)

6.Tie first, and show them, then get them to tie.
NOTE: You should be the only one tying.
7. Check their mistakes.
NEVER PROCEED ON IF CADET GETS IT WRONG.
8. Show the Sir/Mdm your knot(this i not really sure, but i think is)
9. Do one more time.
10. Fall in.
