Hi.
Justin here.
I am here to talk about the upcoming events.
Firstly, i will prepare some information about Community Safety and Secure Programme (CSSP)
for you so as to prepare for the badge assignment.
My target is for the squad to complete it by Feburary 2010
so as to start for our Police Youth Ambassador Badge (PYA) in March/April.
This way we would be able to have more badges when we pass out.
I will do more research for your CSI badge as seen in the above picture
(should be Crime Scene Investigation)and
your First Aid.First Aid is not the one that are on the NCOs Uniform.
NCO is wearing Safety First, it should be different.
Some of you maybe can take the initiative to do more research for it
so we can advance even faster.
This way, NPCC would look even smarter and better with more badges in your uniform.
Maybe this is one good way of boosting the morale of the cadets.
I will inform your for more details about your CSSP when i am done
collating the information that i have gathered.
Now, you can start writing yout NYAA first so that we can submit them hopefully by end January or the first week of Feburary.
The following is are the things that we have installed for us:
1.
SailingSailing should be possible if we have sufficient money in our edusave that could last us for the year. After sailing, maybe we could go for power boating if possible.
A pity there's no canoeing, otherwise we could do that as well):
2.
MarksmanMarksmanship is another event that is coming soon. Please go remember the three rules and don be like me, 0 in 0 out. Getting a marksman can help the NPCC a lot in terms of UOPA points. (Unit Overall Proficiency Award)
3.
TrainingsThere will be extra trainings for us during the last 2 weeks of december, if our appeal is successful. The main objective is to quickly catch up with syallubus such as Flagstaff and Rifle Drill. This way we would have more time to revise and do other things.
I have started to assign our squadmates to research on several NPCC proficiency badges
to see how can we attain them and use them.
Justin Chua - CSSP and PYA
Nash Hairie - CSI (Crime Scene Investigation)
Douglas Ong - First Aid and Neighbourhood Police Watch
The deadline for the submission of research is 4/12/2009.
I will call for gathering to talk about the progress that you have made
and we will start doing and preparing on the second week of december.
This way we woulod save a lot of time.
