CCKSS NPCC Batch 16 has come a long way.
We took on the role as a NPCC cadet since February 2008, since a secondary one student.
The original intake of 23 cadets has decided to take a 4/5 year commitment.
As years go by, the relationship has goe closer and we have been squadmates that care and share with each other.
We have learnt new things, endured punishments and co-operated together as a squad.
However, we are still nothing.
3 years have past, and the intake has dropped to a reuglar of 14/15 cadets, attending parades each day.
We tend to take loudly, we say we want to achieve, but it is seriously all empty talk.
Looking back for what have i done and achieve for the past three years, i feel that i have done nothing.
We have made more dissapointments that achievements.
We say we will improve, but when i was asked to name out, i could produce none.aI hence conclude that i have just been a parasite - one that feeds that not helps.
The then NCO Kenneth and NCO Sarah took us when we are secondary one cadets.
We have been their juniors, we learnt much, but when we were asked to do our footdrills or campcraft, we sucked.
I believe Sir Kenneth now has hopes on us, even in the past. However, due to our ignorance in the past, we have only dashed their hopes. Even now during the NRC course, we still play.
When we say our squad is bonded, i think that it is true, but after today, i doubt so.
One minority has caused the majority to argue and to disolate.
This is evident, to prove that all this while, we are just talking emptily.
We are seondary three cadets.
Frankly, we should not be doing this, but i will not stop you.
During my ATC course, i sentence made from my CI shook me all over.
"They are my squadmates."
One sentence, four words, have changed the way of how should i treat you all.
Since sec 2, i have been ordering you all, not giving chances for you to prove yourself and how powerful you can be.
Seriously, i suddenly feel stupid.
I have just thought something; we are actually living in our own world.
When out timer says squad thiam, we still adjust.
I am not saying that this is wrong, but we should listen to him or her.
Since he/she says thiam, we should really thiam.
It all boils down to the respect you have for yourself in your eyes.

We are batch 16.
We are just not any ordinary batch.
We have a vision.
We have a mission.
We want to serve our unit.
B - Believe; we will put in our best effort, for what we believe that will happen.
A - Action; we shall do it, we will not give up.
T - Trust; we shall trust our squadmates, we will trust our decision.
C - Commit; we will put in 200% effort to our squadmates, and not the unit.
H - Help; helping our squadmates in need, shall be our motto.

Tomorrow shall be the last second day of the course.
As for tomorrow, we will forget what has happen for the past 3 days, and put in the effort of a commanding leader.
We shall forgive and forget; JH.
We will give one more chance, just one more chance.
I will be at the foyer tomorrow, 1200, doing footdrill revision, in FULL NPCC UNIFORM.
Even if no one comes, i shall continue.
You now must be thinking "Justin crazy one",
but i don't blame you.
You have your own thinking, i have mine.
I shall prove myself worth, and have a vision.
